Recipe for Hope September 21 and September 22

The 8th annual Recipe for Hope event is Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, 2019. This program will help raise awareness of local children in need of assistance from poverty, abuse, illness or hunger. Recipe for Hope encourages youth volunteerism in our community.
Here’s our Recipe for Hope...
5 barrels volunteers
4 gallons of kindness
3 quarts empathy
2 pints pride
1 cup of work to lift despair
½ pound of friends to help spread the word
Mix in shoppers to collect and deliver items in need.
Flavor with frequent portions of concerned individuals dedicated to helping children in need. Stir well with partners already working to ease poverty, abuse and despair in the lives of local children. Remove skeptics that say, “it can’t be done.” Cover and simmer for as long as it takes to get the job done!
