Sample Recipes

Brownies
  • In microwave put 4 squares of unsweetened chocolate, 1 box of dark brown sugar and 1 ½ sticks of butter. Microwave for 3 minutes and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. When cool add 2 whole eggs, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Put in square aluminum foil greased pan and bake for 35 minutes. 

Forgotten Cookies
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1, 6 oz. bag of mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Beat egg whites until foamy and add sugar and until stiff but not dry. Fold in rest of ingredients.  Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet that has foil on it. Turn off the oven and don’t open for 5 hours.

Six-Way Butter Cookies
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cream butter in mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar; continue creaming until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla extract and beat well. Blend in sifted dry ingredients gradually. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown. 

Nut  Free and Egg Free Cookies
  • 1 bag Hersey’s kisses (9 oz) 
  • 1 cup butter softened 
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1 cup Hersey’s (or anyone's) semi sweet mini baking chips
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Remove wrappers from kisses. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Add flour to butter mixture; blend until smooth. Sire in mini baking chips. Mod scant tablespoon dough around each kiss covering completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
